Department of Investments and Real Estate is formed by academic and research staff members, whose main goal is to carry out research and share knowledge in the following areas:
- preparation and assessment of investment projects profitability,
- capital and money market,
- financial investments
- financing of investments,
- investment in real estate markets,
- investment in non-material values,
- investment strategies of enterprises,
- real estate management,
- commercialisation of real estate,
- valuation of real estate and of enterprises,
- real estate trade agencies,
- real estate market analysis,
- risk management,
- innovation investment.
Department of Investments and Real Estate offers a specialised course: Investments and Real Estate. Course programme, consisting of two tier studies (undergraduate and postgraduate) full time – is certified by the European Council for Real Estate Professions in Brussels in the real estate field.
An alumni of the full time undergraduate and postgraduate courses Investments and Real Estate satisfies one of the criterions needed to be awarded professional rights to work as a real estate surveyor in Poland.
Department of Investments and Real Estate offers in addition a postgraduate courses (some in cooperation with JLL):
- Postgraduate Studies in Real Estate Management and Development Projects
- Postgraduate Studies in Property Valuation
Department is formed by specialists in the field of investment projects management, financial market and real estate market. Staff members possess many licences, certificates and professional rights, including: licence of a stockbroker, licence of a real estate market agent, licence of a real estate manager, professional titles of real estate appraiser. Knowledge backed by practice on the Investments and Real Estate specialisation course allows to prepare the alumni who are valued in the job market.
