Department of Accountancy of the Faculty of Management is a reputable academic and research unit. It boasts a team of highly qualified staff members, who combine academic work with practical applications. They participate in investigations of financial reports and implementations of financial accounting and management accounting systems. They have published many national and international papers, and take parts in scientific and academic research projects.
As one of only a few departments in Poland, Department of Accountancy of the University of Gdańsk possesses an ACCA accreditation for all nine Fundamentals level exams, as well as five specialist subjects exams on the Professional Scheme level.
