Faculty of Management

The Faculty of Management is one of the 11 faculties at the University of Gdańsk and one of two located in Sopot.
It offers 3-year bachelor’s programs and 2-year master’s programs in both full-time and part-time modes, as well as postgraduate studies. Approximately 3,000 students are enrolled at the Faculty, gaining cutting-edge knowledge in fields such as management, marketing, investments, IT, finance, banking and insurance, and accounting. The curriculum is designed and regularly updated to ensure that graduates combine a broad understanding of various economic disciplines with in-depth expertise in their chosen specializations. The most outstanding students have the opportunity to follow individualized study tracks. The Faculty of Management is authorized to confer both doctoral and postdoctoral degrees.
The academic staff includes 6 full professors, 27 associate professors, 87 assistant professors (adiuncts), 2 senior lecturers, and 20 assistants. A significant portion of the staff has practical experience in managing business entities, holds key positions on supervisory boards of companies, and serves in advisory bodies at both central and local levels of government.
The Faculty collaborates with numerous academic institutions abroad, particularly within the European Union. This collaboration encompasses both research activities, involving the Faculty’s staff, and educational activities, benefiting the students. Each year, the number of students participating in international exchange programs, such as Erasmus+, continues to grow.
