DOUBLE DEGREE OPPORTUNITY

Students have the opportunity to obtain two diplomas: one from the University of Gdańsk and one from Riga Technical University (RTU). Participants in the double degree programme complete the third and fourth semesters at RTU in Riga, Latvia.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

The specialisation responds to the growing demand for versatile professionals who can bridge the gap between business and technology and contribute to ambitious IT projects.

The curriculum covers:
· business intelligence and data management;
· data visualisation and data-driven decision-making;
· time-series analysis;
· human–computer interaction;
· IT project and portfolio management;
· business process management;
· CRM and ERP systems;
· DevOps, cloud solutions and microservices;
· organisational cybersecurity;
· Big Data solutions.

A strong data-to-decision focus enables students to configure business intelligence solutions and use dashboards, visualisations and data tables to support informed business decisions.

The programme combines technical, analytical, managerial and interpersonal skills. Students gain practical experience through:
· classes delivered by industry practitioners;
· work with modern business systems and process management tools;
· project-based assignments;
· a mandatory 200-hour internship;
· Master’s seminars supporting the preparation of the Master’s thesis.

This combination of skills and practical experience prepares graduates both for employment in digitally driven organisations and for transforming innovative ideas into their own business ventures. It also helps them understand how to use artificial intelligence effectively and responsibly in a rapidly changing labour market.
