Erasmus+ Graduate Traineeship Programme

Erasmus+ Graduate Traineeships - Apply Before Graduation and Go Abroad as a Graduate!

Are you approaching graduation and looking for an opportunity to gain international professional experience? Take advantage of the Erasmus+ Graduate Traineeship Programme and complete a traineeship abroad after finishing your studies!

Remember these two essential rules:

  • You must apply for an Erasmus+ graduate traineeship while you are still a student – before defending your thesis and completing your degree.
  • You can start your graduate traineeship only after completing your studies - as a graduate of the University of Gdańsk.

This means that you cannot wait until after graduation to submit your application. You must first find a host organisation and complete the Erasmus+ application procedure while you still have student status.

Once you have successfully completed your studies, you can undertake your traineeship abroad as a graduate.

Graduate traineeships must be completed within 12 months of graduation, subject to the deadlines and conditions of the relevant Erasmus+ call for applications.

How to apply?

  1. Find a host organisation abroad. You can search for opportunities through Erasmus Careers or contact companies, institutions or universities directly.
  2. Obtain confirmation from the host organisation, including a completed Letter of Intent.
  3. Submit your Erasmus+ application while you are still a student, before graduating.
  4. Complete the required formalities, including the Training Agreement, insurance coverage and grant agreement.
  5. Graduate and begin your traineeship abroad!
