Visit of UG lecturers to universities in Egypt

We are pleased to announce the establishment of cooperation between the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk with two universities in Egypt: Future University in Egypt (FUE) and the British University in Egypt (BUE). At the beginning of this year, we hosted a lecturer from FUE at the Faculty of Management (link), while in the last week of April this year, there was a joint visit of lecturers from the Faculty of Management (Dr. Arkadiusz Kozłowski) and the Faculty of Economics (Dr. Anna Blajer-Gołębiewska, Associate Professor and Dr. Joanna Bednarz, Associate Professor) to both Egyptian universities.

During the visit, lectures for MBA and MA students were held, as well as meetings with the academic staff of both universities. Dr. Arkadiusz Kozłowski gave lectures on data analysis in R and data visualization in R, and also gave a speech at a scientific seminar on inference based on random and non-random samples.

Meetings with university authorities to plan further academic cooperation, including joint research projects, publications, and mobility initiatives, were also an important part of the programme.
