Cooperation

The Head of Marketing Department, Associate Professor Robert Bęben received the honorable mention "Primum Cooperatio" of Pomeranian Employers Association in February, 2018 for successful representation of Pomeranian Academia in the field of networking the scientific achievement with the business activitities. 

Marketing department employees strictly cooperate with marketing agencies, public education institutions, business entities, NGOs and local/regional authorities.

Robert Bęben runs Professor Brunon Synak Pomeranian Scientific Institute in Gdansk. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of academic partnership TechTransBalt Co., and a member of the Supervisory Board of MTG SA Gdańsk International Fair Co. The President of Gdansk appointed him to the post of the member of Hevelianum Council. He is a member of the honour society jury for Pomeranian Quality Prize.

They are the authors of marketing strategies, tactical plans and online communication among others for tourism and cosmetics sector, and Third Age Universities in Poland. Non-profit organizationsAs well-known experts in the field of social economy, circular economy, wellbeing tourism and regional development and promotion, they are involved in the Pomerania region development by taking part in international projects under South Baltic Programme, such as “SB WELL - Sustainable tourism for wellbeing in the South Baltic region. Good practices and Promotion”, which is led by Linnaeus University in Sweden in 2019-2021 with the partners from Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania and Germany; “ARCHAEOBALT - Laying fixed foundations for innovative Archeotourism - a new "green" Archeoroute in the Southern Baltic Sea Region”, where the leading part is the University of Gdansk, and the other partners come from the Danish and Swedish universities; and “CIRTOINNO - Circular Economy Tools to Support Innovation in Green and Blue Tourism SMEs" where the partners come from Poland, Sweden, Denmark and Lithuania any many others.

They also collaborate with the business schools such as School of Business & Economics, Chile; Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, India; Porto Polytechnic; Linnaeus University, Sweden; Klaipeda University of Applied Studies, Lithuania, Aarhus University, Denmark and selected universities in Slovakia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia.
